“La sembradora de ideas” (the seeder of ideas) is a think tank aiming at disseminating and transferring knowledge about ‘big data’, entrepreneurship, agriculture 4.0 and connectivity applied to the primary sector. When these issues are combined with innovation, the future of agriculture results. These words from José Ramón Acín, manager of Finca Bizcarra de Monzón, serve to present this initiative that will celebrate its 2022 edition on November 26 in Monzón (Huesca, Spain).
On this occasion, La Sembradora will deal with irrigation, presenting smart irrigation and precision irrigation initiatives. Three members of the RAMA group have been invited to participate in this event: Enrique Playán, Raquel Salvador and José Cavero. They will be presenting different aspects of their research on irrigation: from technology to social issues, agronomy and environmental impact.
