This conference was held on April 24th at the Fundecyt-PCTEX facilities in Badajoz, bringing together a large group of experts in irrigation research and innovation from Spain. The conference was organized by CICYTEX, the Scientific and Technological Research Center of Extremadura (Junta de Extremadura), and by CEBAS-CSIC in Murcia.
The event was funded by the AGROALNEXT project, part of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan of the Government of Spain through the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, funded by the European Union (NextGeneration EU).
The event featured speakers from the organizing institutions (CEBAS-CSIC and CICYTEX), the RAMA group (EEAD-CSIC), IVIA, IAS-CSIC, Canal de Montijo, ITAP, CIDE-CSIC, IRNAS-CSIC, and IRTA. Attendees filled the room, requiring an internet connection to follow the event online.
The RAMA group would like to thank the organizers for their invitation. The event was highly engaging and served to strengthen the scientific and technical community in irrigation. We also enjoyed the hospitality of the organizers and learned more about everything the city of Badajoz has to offer visitors.
