The Doctoral Commission of the University of Zaragoza has opened its annual call for extraordinary doctoral awards. To be eligible for this award it is essential to have read the doctoral thesis at the University of Zaragoza between September 15, 2021 and September 14, 2022 and to have received the qualification ‘Cum Laude’.
The call for award applications will be open between September 15 and 30, 2022. The application form and a folder with the corresponding merits must be submitted electronically. For more details, please consult the call for applications.
The Commission will make a provisional proposal of awards by areas of knowledge. For each area, a maximum of one award may be proposed for every ten theses or fraction thereof qualified with cum laude.
In the previous academic year (2020/21) Dr Noemí Mateo obtained the Extraordinary Doctorate Award of the University of Zaragoza for her doctoral thesis entitled “Efficacy of nitrification and urease inhibitors to reduce nitrogen losses under optimal management practices in irrigated Mediterranean agrosystems” directed by Ramón Isla and Lola Quilez. For this academic year, at least one doctor of the RAMA group meets the requirements… so we encourage all those who meet the requirements to apply.
